Terry has been crafting with wood, metal, acrylics and glass since 1993. His versatility and dynamic is due to experience working with a variety of woods, techniques, finishes and clients. He studied boat building at the Harbourfront Pier with Peter Code, traditional methods with Michael Fortune at the Craft & Design Studio at Sheridan College, ascenic display/fine art service fields with master, Mac Thomas and apprenticed under Master Woodworker, Buck Tibbitt at The Wood Studio, Toronto.

Terry’s bespoke work breathes Scandinavian, Japanese, Mid-Century Modern, Arts and Crafts, Shaker, and Mission styles and oftentimes fuses elements from his native Canadian background.

He continues to be a humble student of his teachers, and inspired by George Nakashima, Frank Lloyd-Wright, James Krenov, Wharton Esherick, Finn Juhl, William Morris and Hans Wegner.
