We’re a family-owned small business with old-school values, founded by Terry in 1993. Terry and Jack spend their days making quality pieces with traditional techniques and modern tools

It all started when…

Terry has been designing and building with wood, incorporating metal, glass and acrylics since 1993. His bespoke work breathes Scandinavian, Japanese, Mid-Century Modern, Arts and Crafts, Shaker, and Mission styles with domestic wood species.

He studied boat building at the Harbourfront Pier with Peter Code, traditional methods with Michael Fortune at the Craft & Design Studio at Sheridan College, scenic display and fine art service with master, Mac Thomas and apprenticed under Master Woodworker, Buck Tibbitt at The Wood Studio, Toronto.

He continues to be a humble student of his teachers, and inspired by George Nakashima, Frank Lloyd-Wright, James Krenov, Wharton Esherick, Finn Juhl, William Morris and Hans Wegner.
